Life in Le Mains

I shared a car with some nice strangers from Paris to Le Mains. There I met up with Marion and her father. It's amazing to meet a friend like this, in her own country, when you've known each other or long but not in that way. I'm very happy I got the chance to see where you come from Marion.
Here are some pictures from Le Mains and around.

The first thing Marion did was to bring me to the old part of the city. She knows exactly what I like, to walk around and get lost in the streets.

 The Cathedral.

Someone wa playing music when we entered, it was like we stepped into a old horror movie, or a forgotten time.

 Oh these roof tops.

The gardens in the old part of the city was really beautiful. Like something from a french dream.

Marion bought me lunch in a really nice place, it was warm enough to sit outside. I was recommended to taste the duck so I did. It was delicious of course.

Then we went to Emmaus, which has a slightly different atmosphere in France than in Sweden... Marion found some books about mushrooms and plantes that you can use for your health. It was a big topic for the rest of the week.

The last afternoon we went to visit Marions grand parents in their house in the country side. Marion has a very beautiful family and they really care for each other. I felt very welcommened by them and I really apprechiate all the cheek kisses!

We stepped outside into the rain for a moment. To watch the fields and greet the chickens. Then we rushed to the train and left to go to Nantes. I fell asleep after only ten minutes with my book and your french lyrics next to me. You got to keep my ticket for another time.
